Hi friends! Welcome to The Guest Reader!
This blog is intended to be a place where I can share audiofiles of some children's books that I have created for my kids. If anyone else wants to join the fun, just e-mail your file to me and I will be delighted to post it. To learn more about creating your own audiofiles, click here and here. Creativity is encouraged!!!
For a full list of The Guest Reader titles, scroll to the bottom of the page. Book titles are also written as blogposts and are labeled by author and guest reader. So, for example, if you want all of Dr. Seuss's books, just hit the label "Seuss" and they will sort out for you.
Most of the stories are read with chimes to denote a page-turn. It is most fun for kids if you have the book, so you can either try to find the story from your home collection, or check out the book at the library.
To listen to a list of stories without needing to keep clicking on a new file, click here for tips on creating a playlist or burning a CD.
